Our platforms

Since our company started we have extended our activities into 6 platforms. Through our diversified portfolio, we are able to meet the changing needs of our customers and the demand of emerging economies.

Frozen meats

Frozen meat is processed from freshly slaughtered animals (Beef, Pork and Poultry). The meat, which is in peak condition and freshness, is preserved by rapid freezing to colder than -18ºC and is then stored and distributed in this frozen form.

Freezing stops bacterial growth. The complex chemical changes that cause deterioration of the meat, such as rancidity, are also slowed down considerably. Freezing meat can therefore preserve the meat in good condition and retain its wholesomeness and quality for long periods ranging from 6 months to a year depending on the kind of meat. Upon thawing, the quality of the meat should be as acceptable to the consumer as if it were a fresh product.

Processed animal protein and fats

Processed Animal Protein (PAP) is a complex of three key nutrients: protein, fat and minerals. PAP is a safe feed ingredient made from Category 3 (Rendering) material that contribute to healthy diets in certain types of livestock, aquaculture and pets.

Rendering is defined as the process of breaking down, through heat application, blood, meat pieces, and other animal by products into useful components.

Processed Animal Protein is suitable for monogastric terrestrial livestock including pigs and poultry on farms as well as pets such as cats and dogs. All the material going into PAP is fit for human consumption at the point of slaughter so the end product is nutritious, high value protein which corresponds well with these animals’ typical diets.PAP is free from any specified risk material and the highest standards of hygiene and traceability mean it is a safe, healthy animal feed.

Grain and oilseeds

Grain are identified as cereals suitable as food for human consumption. Grain is the harvested seed of grasses such as wheat, oats, rice, and corn. Other important grains include sorghum, millet, rye, and barley. Around the globe, grains, also called cereals, are the most important staple food. Humans get an average of 48 percent of their calories, or food energy, from grains.

Oilseeds are those grains that are also valuable for the oil content they produce.

Feed ingredients

A feed ingredient is a component part or constituent or any combination/mixture added to and comprising the feed. Feeding ingredients might include grains, milling by products, added vitamins, minerals, fats/oils, and other nutritional and energy sources.

Vegetable oils and fatty acids

Vegetable oils are liquid vegetable fats that remain in the liquid form at room temperature. These lipids are most commonly extracted from various parts of plants such as seeds, fruits, or plant seedlings. Under the chemical terms they are a combination of triglycerides of higher saturated and unsaturated faly acids. In other words, these compounds are esters of glycerol and higher fatty acids.

With beneficial and diverse effects on the human skin, they have found wide applications in many branches of industry, in particular in cosmetic industry and cosmetology, pharmacy and medicine. In cosmetic industry, vegetable oils are used mainly as the vehicle for other active ingredients, dissolved or dispersed in oil-water type emulsions.

Dairy products

Dairy products are foods or drinks that are created from cow milk.

Dairy products are often considered to be high in calcium and vitamins, and are a good source of energy for Human consumption. Dairy products include food items such as yogurt, cheese, and butter.
